Featuring Bach’s mighty Chaconne and Lennox Berkeley’s Sonatina, this solo recital is part of the Sunday lunchtime series at Norden Farm Art’s Centre. 11:45 am
Holloway at the Sims – Southampton, UK – 14/05/2012
Sam Performs George Holloway’s Guitar Sonata in a special composer portrait concert as part of Southampton University’s lunchtime concert series. This concert also features the composer at the piano performing in his new song cycle Bird Songs. Turner Sims Concert Hall, Southampton, 1pm Free Admission.
Solo at Brunel – London, UK – 18/05/2012
Sam returns to perform another solo recital in Brunel University’s lunchtime concert series. This concert will feature music by George Holloway, Bach, L. Berkeley and others. 1pm, Roberts Room, Brunel University, free admission
Returns to The National Gallery – London, UK – 20/04/2012 and 25/05/2012
Sam will perform alongside flautist Ruth Corney in the Sainsbury Wing featuring music by Handel and Bach. National Gallery, Trafalgar Sqaure 6pm, free entry
Berkeley and Dowland with Theremin – London, UK – 20/06/12
Sam will perform Lennox Berkeley’s solo guitar Sonatina and a selection of song by John Dowland with Theremin player and composer Christian Mason in the intimate setting of 22Mansfield Street, London, W1. More information and tickets to be found here soon…
Rodrigo in Ravenscourt Park – London, UK, 28/06/12
As part of the third Hope for Japan concert series Sam will perform music by Rodrigo in Church of the Holy Innocents, Paddenswick Road. 7:30pm, £10 on the door.
Recital in Chiswick – London, UK – 29/06/2012
As part of the Bedford Park Fesitval 2012 Sam will perform a intimate house concert in Chiswick featuring the mighty Bach Chaconne and George Holloway’s audacious Sonata for Guitar (2009-11). More information and tickets here.
