Airtime on BBC Radio 3 – tracks from ‘Refracted Resonance’ have now featured on Late Junction in July and The New Music Show in September. Listen again here

Sam signs with Metier Records!! Sam’s debut solo CD ‘Refracted Resonance’ will be released in March 2019. It features music by Christopher Fox, Horatiu Radulescu and George Holloway.

Women in Song – 17/01/20, London, UK

Together with soprano Jane Wilkinson and pianist Sally Goodworth Sam kicks off 2020 with a recital highlighting the significant and overlooked contribution email composers have made to the song repertoire. Music by Barbara Strozzi, Clara Schumm and Madeleine Dring. The Beldham, Brunel University, Uxbridge, 1pm. More info here


…touchless as they sleepwalk… at LSO St Luke’s – 15/02/20, London, UK

As part of LSO Soundhub’s showcase of emerging composers Sam’s 2018 work for string quartet …touchless as they sleepwalk… will be performed by members of the London Symphony Orchestra. LSO St Luke’s, Old Street, 7pm. Tickets and info here


Harpsichord and Electric Guitar – 11/03/20, Guildford, Surrey, UK

Sam and legendary new music harpsichordist Jane Chapman will perform music by Thomas Armstrong and others at the University of Surrey. 7.30pm.


Scholarship Fundraising Concert – 14/03/20, London, UK

Sam performs to raise funds for bursaries to the London Youth Conservatoire. More info here


What Guitar Trio? returns – 29/03/20, Canterbury, Kent, UK

Sam rejoins the What Guitar Trio? after their highly successful 840 concert at IKLECTIK. Music by Anna Eriksson, Christian Drew, James Luff and many other exciting young composers. More details to follow


Plumstead Peculiars – 26/04/20, London, UK

A solo recital in the superb acoustic of Plumstead’s Church of the Ascension (a noted recording venue, including for Sam’s 2019 Metier Records release) featuring music by Murail, Villa Lobos, Eduardo Saint de la Maza and others. 4pm, more info here
